With over 40 years of expertise in plantation management and development, Mr Kunasagran has played a pivotal role in restructuring and designing new plantation projects, driving operational excellence across the industry. His career began with KLK Group in Malaysia, one of the largest Oil Palm conglomerates, where he served for over four decades. His expertise led to his promotion and transfer to KLK’s plantation in Liberia, where he successfully managed over 6,000 hectares of Oil Palm plantations for nine years.

A results-driven leader, he thrives in the field, where his hands-on approach has led to significant yield improvements while overseeing all aspects of plantation operations – from finance, accounting, and taxation to legal affairs, HR, administration, corporate social responsibility (CSR), internal audits, and smallholder schemes. His commitment to knowledge transfer is evident in his dedication to the technical training of staff and supervisors, ensuring best agronomic and management practices are embedded at every level.

Currently serving as GM, he oversees the operational activities of a 5,600-hectare producing plantation and a 7,500-hectare new development in Nigeria. His leadership extends across nursery establishment, land clearing, and mill development and operations, ensuring seamless integration of resources and infrastructure for long-term productivity.
