An industry leader with over 50 years of experience driving plantation management and development across Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Africa, Mr Rajit’s expertise spans diverse terrains, from hilly ex-logged jungles to coastal peatlands, turning challenging landscapes into thriving Oil Palm plantations.

He has played a crucial role in groundbreaking projects, including the development of 6,000 hectares of rugged, logged-over terrain into productive Oil Palm plantations in Papua New Guinea. His leadership extended beyond cultivation and he was instrumental in establishing the first Palm Oil Mill in East New Britain, setting a benchmark for the Region.

In Indonesia, he served as Plantation Head for Sg Budi Group, managing 6,000 hectares of mature oil palm and overseeing operations on an additional 1,000 hectares of peatland. 

His expertise in sustainable land management was further demonstrated in his stewardship of 10,000 hectares of Acacia Crassicarpa plantations, where he implemented advanced irrigation and soil compaction techniques to enhance productivity in coastal lands.

Mr. Rajit, our most senior General Manager, has played a pivotal role in the development of JB Farms, overseeing its expansion to nearly 13,000 hectares in Nigeria. His leadership, dedication and industry expertise have been instrumental in driving its growth and success. Respected by his peers and admired by both staff and workers, he has fostered a culture of teamwork, trust and excellence within the organisation.
